Just wanted to say thank you so much for accommodating me and my doggie for our mini-break.
We had a brilliant time and I feel we have been away a week! I am always so happy in my tent and I love the campsite. I keep telling my friends so you might get some calling in. I loved watching all the swallows shooting about and I explored more the locality walking up the river to Heatherslaw, Etal, Hay Farm and Ford and back. I am still waiting for a good clear day to get up those bigger Cheviots but enjoyed Chester’s, Great and Little Hetha Bronze Age Hillforts from Hethpool. It’s such a rich area in all respects and I love it so much.

While I was only on site for an overnight stop, it was just perfect. The farm is a lovely, tranquil location with great views of the Cheviots in the distance. The temporary facilities work fine, and the flat ground is spot on for vehicles and tents. It was my first, exploratory visit to Northumberland and the county has shot straight up to my No. 1 for natural and man-made beauty. The site will be an ideal base for longer stays in the future. We loved the campsite and we’ll definitely be back again next year. Such a great location for exploring the coast. It was so lovely and calm at the campsite, fantastic waking to the sound of the birds and the stars at night were dazzling. Thanks so much.
